Gi Fundamentals Class
This is a Level 1 class that helps introduce students to basic Judo and Jiu-Jitsu throws, falls and ground techniques.
It is a great introduction to our Submission Grappling/BJJ class. This class is recommended for beginners and a
Judo or Jiu-Jitsu GI is required.
Submission Grappling / BJJ
This is a Level 1 or 2 class (scaled to the student) that features training in sport and competition Submission
grappling (without a Gi) and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (with a Gi). This is moderately intense program with drills, techniques
and sparring in every class.
Muay Thai Kick Boxing
This is a Level 2 class that features a more intense training experience. Training includes interactive
partner drills using kick pads and limited contact sparring. This class is not recommended for
beginners without prior experience.
Kick Boxing/MMA Class
This morning class is for students who work nights, etc. It is a level 1 and 2 class (scaled to the student) that
incorporates training in kickboxing, grappling and ultimate fighting. This is usually a small, individualized class
Jun Fan (Bruce Lee) Kick Boxing
This is a Level 1 - 2 class with contact scaled to the student. This is a more detailed kick boxing class with emphasis
on proper technique, timing and distance. This class is a harder workout than the Fitness Class and is a
prerequisite to the Jun Fan Gung Fu levels 2 & 3. Students in this program may test for belts in the Jun Fan/JKD
curriculum.


Adult Program Descriptions
CMA& F offers the widest array of high quality martial arts programs available in the Midlands
area. Our curriculum is designed to satisfy the student looking for an exciting way to stay in
shape as well as those interested in getting into “Ring Ready” condition, even if they don’t
want to fight. We make it easy to choose the level of your martial arts experience.
Our programs are divided into three levels. Level 1 classes are interactive but allow only
minimal contact between students so there is little chance of injury. These classes are not
aerobic kick boxing classes. They are designed so that students can vary the intensity to
match their current fitness level. Level 2 classes are more intense and allow more contact
between students, including limited and controlled sparring with protective gear. These
classes are not recommended for beginning students unless they have prior experience.
Level 3, including our MMA Fight class, involve a much more intense training program and
increased levels of sparring with less safety gear. Although the level of contact is scalable for
each student, these classes are only recommended for experienced students that want to
achieve the highest level of combative training.

Filipino Martial Arts
This is our weapons program based on Filipino and Indonesian martial arts.
Although it includes empty hand techniques, it is primarily focused on edged and
impact weapons. It includes techniques using knives, single sticks, double sticks,
staffs and flexible weapons.
MMAXFit Class
CMA&F utilizes “Crossfit” principles of functional strength training throughout all of our programs. Functional
strength training emphasizes “real world” exercises as opposed to isolation or bodybuilding style exercises. The
MMAXFit program uses medicine balls, kettlebells, stretch bands and contemporary training protocols to stimulate
growth and development of 10 areas of fitness: cardiovascular/respiratory endurance, stamina, strength, flexibility,
power, speed, coordination, agility, balance and accuracy. Sifu Mills is a certified Crossfit instructor.
Instructors Program
As CMAAF has advanced, so has the level of our students. Many are ready and able to be instructors themselves.
However, being an instructor is more than just understanding the moves and techniques of your art. It requires
knowledge of how to teach, aspects of physical training conditioning, body mechanics, and many other
considerations.
These concepts and others are taught in the Instructors Program. Instructing students to build better instructors.
JKD Level 2
And Advanced level, technique oriented class in Jeet Kune Do Concepts, with emphasis on combat
and some training in Wing Chun - the only art / style that Bruce Lee formally studied. The Wing Chun
used is based on Francis Fong's Wing Chun (www.francisfongacademy.com).
